Today’s ornament spots candy cane colors through a spiralling gradient color.
Follow the basic pattern from window 1. In the 5th and 10th round, introduce a new color to your knitting. You will use four separate threads and only knit them when you encounter them. Don’t take them with you in the rounds! Also, shift the stitches of the colored yarn every round by one stitch. The biggest headache in this ornament are all the stranded yarns endings that are in the way. I try to squeeze them all into the ball somehow and not to get confused with the next thread that I need to use.
