About a week ago I finished the sari trousers published in the last issue of the HANDMADE kultur
magazine. And I am loving it! Not only the fantastic, tropical fabric which turned out to be exactly how I imagined. Furthermore, the pattern was crazily easy to follow and is highly recommendable for beginners.

Only the width of the waistband did not quite perfectly overlap with the rest of the trousers. I just could not get the fabric for the waistband to stretch far enough. Nonetheless, I am very satisfied and no one will see the folds at the sides. 😉

I changed the trousers a bit more to my liking: I did not want it too long and finished the trouser legs shortly under the knee and finished again with the blue fabric.

I guess it won’t be the last trousers of this sorts and I quickly will sew another one, this time maybe even a bit longer.

Both fabrics were bought at Stoffe.de.

Hallo Julia, willkommen beim Me made Mittwoch!
