Maybe you’ve seen that Monday was World Book Day.

Not sure how it is for you guys, but I am totally neglecting reading at the moment. And waiting for me to get into it again is a pile of around 20 books that I bought but didn’t read.

Then I read about the “Lesefreunde” project (in Germany) for the World Book Day at  Fräulein Julia’s. And without thinking, I had to be a part of this giving-away-of-books. After all, it is a perfect idea to remind people of reading some more.

I also now that in my friends and family there are a lot of book worms that are too stressed at times to read. So I decided to give away the books to those to encourage them as well to read. Furthermore, it is a small reminder of myself: Yes, I am still here! Because you know how it is, you not only forget to read but also to keep in contact.

But there is one small thing about the project I didn’t like: Who thought about sending a Twilight book? I don’t mind those books at all. I read them. Liked them. But if I imagined I would have gotten those to give away, I wouldn’t have wanted to. Especially not under the slogan: “You have to read this!” Don’t you agree with me?
