I have to admit so far I didn’t take too much care of the blocking of my project 52 patterns. Especially in Mexico it was obviously more or less neglected – I was just glad I was able to knit as it is!
The this weekend I finally got THE idea of my life to help with the blocking. (Why didn’t I have it early like in January or something?!)
On the backsite of an old picture frame I hammered 24 nails around a 15×15 field. This is pretty much it. And now I can perfectly put the damp stitch piece on the nails and easily block it.
Of course, I am going through the finished piece and block them (especially the Mexico once) more properly again. 🙂
